One-component room-temperature vulcanizing (RTV-1) silicone rubber cures via crosslinking reaction upon contact with moisture in air. Based on curing mechanisms, it is classified into acetic acid cure, ketoxime cure, alcohol cure and acetone cure types.
Methanol-release RTV-1 silicone rubber features no pungent odor and non-corrosiveness to metals. No cracking occurs during vulcanization, and it delivers favorable adhesion. It maintains stable physical and electrical properties under harsh environments, making it a high-performance RTV-1 silicone rubber. It is widely used as adhesives in electronics and electrical industries, as well as sealants for construction and automotive sectors.
Ethanol-release RTV-1 silicone rubber releases ethanol as a low-odor byproduct during vulcanization, and it is non-corrosive to metals. (Note: It may cause cracking or whitening on some PC substrates.) It exhibits good adhesion to metals, ceramics, glass and most plastics, mainly applied for bonding electronic components and fixing & protecting PCB assemblies.
Ketoxime-release RTV-1 silicone rubber is formulated with ketoxime-group-containing silane as crosslinker. It features moderate vulcanization performance, low odor from released ketoxime byproducts during curing, and causes slight corrosion only to copper while being non-corrosive to other metals. It serves as sealants and adhesives for construction, electronics & electrical, automotive and other industries.

This product is a room-temperature curing silicone rubber sealant with excellent resistance to oil, high temperature, water, aging and salt spray. Its sealing performance is not restricted by the size and shape of bonding surfaces. It can withstand sealing pressure ≥12 MPa, with a maximum service temperature of 300°C. It can replace traditional wooden gaskets, tar felt gaskets, paper gaskets, rubber gaskets and asbestos gaskets. This product is a modified alcohol-type silicone rubber. It is manufactured using alkoxy-terminated 107 silicone polymer, where the hydroxyl groups of 107 silicone polymer are replaced by alkoxy groups. The material cures at room temperature upon contact with moisture in the air.Compared with termination catalyzed by titanium complexes, alkoxy termination achieves more thorough modification without residual hydroxyl groups, which reduces side reactions and delivers relatively low volatile content.It features stable performance, anti-yellowing property, excellent aging resistance and outstanding water resistance, and offers good adhesion to most substrates. It can remain stable and flexible within an operating temperature range of -40°C to 200°C.
